Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what we don't do with it. Effective July 19, 2026.
Amp & Adapter (“we,” “us”), published by Type 5 Marketing LLC, respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the site handles and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately short because we collect deliberately little.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and how visitors move through the site — aggregate, statistical information such as page views, general location and device type. This helps us decide what to write next. Google may set cookies to do this; you can block cookies in your browser or use a tracker-blocking extension without breaking the site.
Affiliate links
When you click a product link, you’re passed through a short redirect on our domain to a retailer (typically Amazon). The retailer may set its own cookie to attribute a resulting purchase to us so we earn a commission. That cookie is the retailer’s, governed by the retailer’s privacy policy, and it doesn’t tell us who you are. See our affiliate disclosure for how this works.
Contact form
If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, by email, so we can reply. We use that information only to respond to you. We don’t add you to a mailing list and we don’t sell or share it. Our form uses a hidden anti-spam field and simple timing/rate checks — no third-party captcha, no tracking widget.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t run advertising networks or behavioral ad tracking on this site. We don’t require an account or collect payment information — all purchases happen on the retailer’s own site under their terms and privacy policy.
Your choices
You can block or clear cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, and simply not submit the contact form if you’d rather not share your details. If you’ve emailed us and want your message deleted, ask and we’ll delete it.
Children
This site is intended for adults purchasing EV charging equipment and is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
